I remember writing this one after having seen Drive, starring professional screen actor, Ryan Gosling. I wanted to make a song with that same sort of pulsating synth bass from that amazing soundtrack. So, I did.
This is one of the (many) nice things about Moron Police. We’re not really chained to a genre, and can do a nice little synth pop song if we want to. So, we did.
We hope you enjoy this nice little synth pop song. Heavily inspired by the more subdued sounds of the 80s—Italo without the Disco, so to speak. Ryan Gosling in a spaceship instead of a car. A lament for friends who have passed on. A passage to Heaven revealed by parting clouds.
